HERDSIRES
Proven pedigrees that yield results. At Crooked Oak Farms, we have herdsires with proven performance genetics. We currently have six different herdsires from different genetic lines. Our herdsires include: JJS CYR, OLF MAGNAR, MCR EL DORADO, OLF SCRATCH'S MIDNIGHT DREAM, PRG VENUS'S COOL BLU, and LFK OUTLAW'S COWBOY.

OUTLAW'S COWBOY
LFK OUTLAW'S COWBOY is a special addition to our farm! We love JJS CYR and were ecstatic about the opportunity to add Cowboy to our herdsire lineup! Cowboy was purchased at the 2017 NKR Spotlight Sale for $5900, making him the high selling buck at that sale. He has consistently produced impressive kids and we look forward to having those kids on our farm. His pedigree consists of MRG OUTLAW (his sire) and GHK A 59, which is a COO IRON HORSE daughter.
COWBOY PEDIGREE
Everything is to love about Cowboy's pedigree. MRG OUTLAW is known for performance and has sired many great showcasings in the buck test area. Combined with IRON HORSE, Cowboy is a nice genetic combination.
COOL BLU
PRG VENUS'S COOL BLU is a son of Blue's Son. Blue's Son is also a sire that produces performance and hardiness. Cool Blu "Blu" produces hardiness and color. Blu also features a COO IRON HORSE daughter as his dam, GHK VENUS. He is blue in color and passes that trait on as well as thickness to his kids. We are so excited to have Blu as a part of our "son" arsenal at Crooked Oak Farms!
BLU PEDIGREE
Blue's Son is also a name mentioned with pedigree and performance. Looking at Blu's pedigree you can see how nicely he will complement Cowboy, both being from Iron Horse, but both bringing other performance genetics to the table.
JJS CYR
JJS CYR JJS CYR comes to Crooked Oak Farms from J & J Kikos. He is the son of LFK Cowboy and KMG Milly. LFK Cowboy was the highest selling buck at the 2018 NKR Spotlight Sale at $5,900. LFK Cowboy's genetic line is full of well-known parasite resistant and performance tested genetics. LFK Outlaw's Cowboy is a son of MRG Outlaw. MRG Outlaw has sired multiple buck test winners and has a proven record of performance. Cyr's dam is from KMG genetic lines which include KMG Confederate. When we purchased JJS CYR, we were impressed with his dam. His dam was 14 years old and had a perfect udder. We loved her body condition and the kids of hers that were kept on the farm at J&J Kikos! We are very excited to have CYR on our farm! Look for his kids in Spring 2020.

As you can see with Cyr's pedigree, he brings a lot of older, proven genetics to the table!
MCR EL DORADO
MCR EL DORADO We are very fortunate to have a son of MGR Titan's Hammer on our farm. MCR EL DORADO comes to our farm from Mill Creek Farm. If you are familiar with pedigree and performance, Mill Creek Farm is always mentioned. This farm routinely tests bucklings and we respect farms that do that! MCR El Dorado is a son of MGR Titan's Hammer, who has sired many performance-proven offspring. El Dorado's dam is a daughter of GHK Cherokee Fiddler over GHK Venus. Both of those lines are also stacked with performance! We are excited to see what El Dorado will contribute to our farm!
MCR EL DORADO PEDIGREE
El Dorado is our MGR TITAN'S HAMMER son. Titan's Hammer is another name that goes with hardiness and performance. Hammer genetics are hard to get on your farm, because every farm loves their Hammer genetics! We are so happy to have him here!
OLF MAGNAR
OLF MAGNAR OLF MAGNAR is a Goatex Generator Son. Goatex Generator was one of the original kikos in the industry. Goatex Generator is known for producing proven performance. Magnar's dame is a Nick granddaughter on the top of her pedigree and an ECR RUSTY granddaughter on the bottom of her pedigree.
OLF MAGNAR PEDIGREE
Magnar is from Goatex Generator. Generator genetics are also genetics that are nice in the kiko realm! Goatex Generator was one of the original kikos to arrive in the USA from New Zealand. Having a direct son from that genetic line is great to have for any farm!
OLF SCRATCH'S MIDNIGHT DREAM
OLF SCRATCH'S MIDNIGHT DREAM OLF SCRATCH'S MIDNIGHT DREAM is a buckling sired by OLF SCRATCH. Many in the Kiko industry know Scratch as a son of Pango HUA. Pango HUA has many offspring that exhibit hardiness and performance. OLF SCRATCH sold for over $20,000. OLF Scratch's Midnight Dream is also the son of a Loverboy granddaughter. Add in the Goatex Generator genetics on the top and bottom of his pedigree and we feel that his offspring will have the traits that make his pedigree fantastic!
OLF SCRATCH'S MIDNIGHT DREAM PEDIGREE
"Dreamer" is the son of OLF SCRATCH, which is known for being the highest selling kiko to date! We really like his pedigree and hope he will produce well for us.
